Amelia Gandara

Amelia Gandara is originally from Yuma, Arizona, where she began her dance training at Yuma Ballet Academy and eventually their pre-professional program Ballet Yuma. She spent summers training with Houston Ballet, CPYB, Louisville Ballet, BalletMet, and Paul Taylor. She performed professionally as a trainee with Louisville Ballet and as a company member of Missouri Contemporary Ballet. More recently, she has had the pleasure of collaborating with interdisciplinary artists for bespoke performances including the Columbus Museum's Wonder Ball. Amelia enjoys continuing to find movement opportunities and is excited to be dancing her first season as a guest artist with Cultivate Dance Project.
